Whether you are looking to enroll new students in the Littleton ESD, or if you are already a part of the Littleton Community, welcome. We will continue to update this page due to new and exciting information. Here, you will find the general information about our enrollment requirements, along with our new registration information as a result of the new School Choice program now available across the district.
School choice means that we have adopted a single attendance area. Starting with the 2016-17 school year, students have the opportunity to select where they will attend school based on academic interest. That means that we no longer have school boundaries, but one large district boundary. The idea is to allow parents and students to select a program in the school that most interests, fits the needs of individual students, and best promotes achievement; which may or may not mean students attending the closest school.
All of our schools will continue to offer a curriculum based on the state standards along with art, music, physical education, and technology. All sites will also serve students in grades k-8 with preschool on the Littleton campus. Some of our schools, together with our community, have decided to go a step further and offer what we call focus choices. Same curriculum, but with a twist based on student interest.
Capacity of each program is set by requests and space. In the event a request is made for a program that is full, students are placed on a wait list and the family is contacted as seats become available. This has allowed us to maintain lower class sizes which allows more individual attention for students. Transportation is provided for students living outside of the walking boundaries for the school they choose to attend.
Thank you for all your great questions and input as we develop this opportunity. We have used your questions to develop FAQs. Should you have any questions, you can contact us via e-mail, call 623.478.5880, or stop by our Family Welcome Center located at 1252 S. Avondale Blvd. on the Littleton campus.

To attend public school in Arizona, proof of immunizations are required for each student. Littleton ESD requires a copy of each child’s immunization records be kept on file during their time of enrollment in our schools. According to state policy A.R.S. 15-843, we may deny attendance of students not meeting state immunization or exemption from immunization requirements.
