As part of their curriculum, CPLA third graders have been exploring the tribal nations of Arizona. A recent field trip to the Heard Museum enabled them to observe many artifacts they had studied. The students were especially fascinated by the kachina doll exhibit and also experienced sitting in a replica of a traditional native hogan.
