Second grade has started their dissections! They are dissecting owl pellets. Owl pellets are indigestible material that are too dangerous to pass through the owl’s digestive tract. The owl’s body compacts all of these materials and the owl regurgitates the pellet. Our owl pellets are sterilized and safe to interact with. It looks like our second graders enjoyed dissecting them!
