Welcome to Our District

Welcome to the online home of Littleton Elementary School District! Established in 1912, our elementary and middle schools have been a cornerstone for community development and identity for 100 years! Today, we proudly serve over 6,000 students and have created choice right here in your community school.

Built on the principles of trust, respect, integrity, collaboration, and dedication, we are committed to preparing students for success! While our values haven’t changed in all that time, we continually reevaluate our approach and examined it for relevancy to this generation. We appreciate you, our backbone of support, for joining with us in this endeavor. Please browse through our website for more information about our district and how we are meeting the educational needs of a new generation in our community.

Superintendent’s Message

Dear Littleton Elementary School District Community,

I am honored and excited to serve as the new superintendent of the Littleton Elementary School District. I am grateful for the opportunity to join a district so clearly aligned with the principles of learning, caring, and growing.

With three decades in education, I’ve seen firsthand how strong relationships, innovative thinking, and a student-centered culture can transform lives. Littleton’s reputation for academic excellence, community involvement, and dedication to student success is what drew me to this great organization, and I am inspired by the incredible work already being done across the district.

As we begin our journey together, I look forward to listening, learning, and working alongside our talented educators, dedicated families, and passionate community partners. Together, we will build on the district’s many strengths and continue to create engaging, inclusive, and equitable learning environments where every student has the opportunity to thrive.

Thank you for welcoming me into the Littleton ESD family. I am excited for the road ahead and all we will accomplish together.

Respectfully,

Dr. Louis Laffitte, Jr.
