Leaders in Learning, Caring and Growing - School Choices for 2021 flyer

Littleton ESD has removed boundaries to create choice right here in your community schools. We have adopted one district boundary, and we allow our families to request programs at schools across the district that are of the most interest and benefit to individual students.

All of our great schools continue to offer a curriculum based on the state standards, along with art, music, physical education, and technology. Now, we are going a step further by offering focus choices. Instruction centers on more project-based learning, with work tailored to the specialty, creating curriculum with an added twist to engage students. Arts, Business AcademyOnline AcademySTEM Engineering, STEM Health Sciences, STEM Computer Science, leadership, and service programs are now available.

We develop each program by demand and set capacities to maintain excellent class sizes. If a requested program is full, a student can be on a wait list, and we will contact him/her about a semester transfer if a seat becomes available. We provide transportation for students living outside of walking boundaries for the school they choose to attend.

Should you have any questions, you can contact us via email, call (623) 478.5800, or stop by our Family Welcome Center located at 1642 S. 107th Avenue.

All Littleton community schools are a school of choice, and we are grateful that so many are choosing to be a part of this exciting initiative. Please take some time to learn about current programs we offer.

Required Documents

Are you new to the community? Need to enroll your child in school for either this year or next school year? We are still enrolling. If you need assistance, send us an email and one of our enrollment specialists will be able to help you.

In order to officially enroll your child(ren) for school and make efficient use of your time, please download the paperwork. When you come to enroll, bring those completed forms along with:

  • Child’s original birth certificate
  • Immunization records
  • Proof of residency (one of the following)
    • Lease agreement/mortgage statement
    • Utility bill
    • Property tax statement
    • Payroll check-stub
  • Withdrawal slip and final report card from previous school (if applicable)
  • Only state defined legal parents/guardians may enroll a child in school
  • Picture ID

Please note that kindergarten students must be five years old before September 1 of the current school year in order to enroll. Non-resident students may apply for school attendance in our district on an excess capacity basis. If you are enrolling from outside of our district boundaries, please bring a completed attendance variance form as well.

To attend a public school in Arizona, proof of immunizations are required for each student. Littleton ESD requires a copy of each child’s immunization record be kept on file during their time of enrollment in our schools. According to state policy A.R.S. 15-843, we may deny attendance of students not meeting state immunization or exemption from immunization requirements.
