Governing Board

The Littleton Elementary School District Governing Board consists of five community members who work together to ensure that the students in our schools receive the best education possible. They are community advocates for our schools and meet together regularly to make decisions regarding school policies, budget allocations, and educational goals.

We want to extend a warm invitation to the public to view our regular Board meetings, which take place in the Underdown Learning Center Auditorium at 6:00 p.m. on the second Tuesday of every month and are available for viewing live at our YouTube Channel. We post all meeting agendas more than 24 hours in advance on the east wall of the center, under the canopy, as well as on our electronic boardbook site, SIMBLI. If you missed a meeting, minutes are available by clicking on the SIMBLI icon. You may also view the YouTube video by clicking on the link available on this page.

Mrs. Soucinek currently holds a master's in education with an emphasis on curriculum and teaching from Northcentral University. She earned a bachelor of arts in communications and political science from Randolph-Macon Woman’s College. She has worked as a junior high and elementary teacher in the Buckeye Elementary School District since 2006. Mrs. Soucinek is a proud 2002 graduate of Tolleson Union High School. Go, Wolverines!

Being involved in her community is important to her. Mrs. Soucinek is currently the vice president of Valor Belles, a non-profit organization that serves past, present, and future veterans and veteran organizations through community outreach, education, support, and collaboration. Having been a teacher, Mrs. Soucinek thought she understood (almost) everything about the education field, but she quickly realized she was wrong when she became a parent in 2013 and again in 2015. She has always been passionate about educating youth and believes every child deserves a high-quality education, yet that passion now has an even bigger emphasis on ensuring that students with special needs receive everything they need to be successful. Mrs. Soucinek is eager to continue to see the success of all students as the Littleton District continues to learn, care, and grow together.
